Granby Soccer Dome

Rafferty Park, West Diamond, Granby

 

The indoor soccer dome is located in Granby between the Middle School and the High School. The Dome features an artificial turf playing surface of 186 feet by 120 feet, together with various goal sizes and practice equipment.

The Dome is used by IMYSA’s soccer programs, the East Grand School District sports programs and the Granby Recreation Department for a variety of uses.

The Dome is operated by the Granby Recreation Department and is available for public rental ( cost @ $50 per hour ). Anyone wishing to rent the Dome should contact :

John is also the contact for any of the adult leagues and recreation activities that happen in the Dome.

Club Programs

All of the IMYSA Option and Competitive Club teams have access to use the Dome for formal practices scheduled by the team’s coaches. Use of the Dome is free to participants in formal practices for these teams.  Any use of the Dome outside of formal scheduled practices should be arranged through John Morgan at the Granby Recreation Department and a fee would be payable.

Any coach of an Option or Competitive team interested in using the Dome for practice should contact the Club’s Dome representative, Simon Levett

( slevett@hughes.net ) to check on availability.

Please note that the Club’s schedule for using the Dome is normally set several months in advance so it is best to plan ahead for the forthcoming season.
